Chesapeake Beach Fishing Reports, Striper Fishing Report

Many of our Captain/s have turned to the striper fishing as the season has jumped out to a very strong start with many trophy sized rockfish making an appearance.

Captain Lee Poore, the skipper of the Dockoar hit the docks this week with many whopper stripers weighing in at over 40 pounds. Captain Lee sure turned his anglers on to some great early season Rockfish fishing by limiting out everyday this week except wednesday when weather kept most boats at the docks.

Capt Lee also got in on the action himself with a 106 pound black drum he muscled up to the boat in one of his many fishing spots that produce fish on a regular basis. Maybe he will divulge the GPS numbers of all these secret holes one day. Maybe not!
